Blackstone Drilling Fluids Ltd. is a Calgary, Alberta-based company focused on solving drilling challenges across the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) in a safe and proactive working environment.

Established in 2006, Blackstone brings together industry veterans who have decades of experience with up and coming leaders on the cutting edge of technology and innovation.  Our dedicated team of mud professionals has more than 165 years of combined experience, and offers a wealth of expertise and technical proficiency to every job.

Blackstone technical experts have drilled in every area of the WCSB, as well as the Arctic, Alberta Oilsands and East Coast Offshore operations. Along with our varied experience in these diverse areas, we have worked with every drilling fluid system on the market today.  It allows us to accurately recommend the proper system for each location, which will reduce overall project costs.
